Everyday Empress: I am a mom, wife, NP student, friend, sister, daughter, coworker etc...just like many of you! I am here to create that "modern memoir" a term I recently heard used on a storyboard collaboration of some of my favorite bloggers. It's taken me a long time to decide to put myself out there but YOLO and life is short (insert any other number of cliches here). With a little push from my husband and some inspiration from other great bloggers I welcome you to a blog that will probably be full of family, fun, sass, crass, a little snarkiness, a little southern-hometownness, and most importantly the world as I see it.
